Leadership Hancock County announces host sites
Leadership Hancock County, now entering its fourth year, announced the host business sites for the 2014 program. Starting in January and meeting approximately every three weeks through May, Leadership Hancock County will meet at the following host sites: the City of Ellsworth, Morris Yachts, Jackson Laboratory, Verso Paper, WoodenBoat School and Schoodic Arts for All with the Maine Arts Commission, the organization announced in a news release.
One of the key components of the Leadership program is the opportunity for participants to engage with and discover the diversity of businesses and organizations that make up Hancock County’s economic base.
Leadership Hancock County has graduated 46 participants since its inception in 2011 and over 15 businesses and nonprofits have been host sites. Applications are now available for the 2014 program. The program is designed for building the leadership capacity of its participants as they learn how to better communicate, collaborate and manage their resources, while also exploring the businesses that make up the community. The class size is limited to 16 and some partial scholarships are available. For more information or for an application contact firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit leadhancock.org.
