INVITATION TO BID

TOWN OF BROOKLIN is accepting bids on the following properties:
1. Map 7, Lot 45, located on the Old County Road (minimum bid $3,100)
2. Map 7, Lot 61, located between the Old County Road and Rte. 175 (minimum bid $9,000)
3. Map 7, Lot 43-1C, located off the Old County Road (minimum bid $1,700)
4. Map 8, Lot 75, located on the Bay Road (minimum bid $12,500)
5. Map 4, Lot 50, located on the Folley Road (minimum bid $3,000)
6. Map 24, Lot 17, located on the Bay Road (minimum bid $3,500)

Any sealed bids should be delivered to the Brooklin Town Office by 1 p.m., May 28, 2015. Sealed bids will be opened by the Selectmen on May 28, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Town Office. The Selectmen reserve the right to reject any and all bids. In the event no bid is approved the bidding process will begin again.

The winning bidder will be required to make a 10% down payment at the awarding of the bid and the remaining balance to be paid within 30 days of such awarding. Any questions please contact the Town Office at 359-8394.

The Brooksville Free Public Library will hold a public meeting to review and discuss our Computer and Internet Use Policy on Thursday, May 28 from 6-8 PM. Anyone interested is invited to come. Notices: Phase 2 Road/Infrastructure Main Street Construction: Sargent Corp. has begun construction at Town Dock and the Town has implemented the following temporary parking restrictions:
· NO parking at town dock until May 25, 2015
· NO parking on Battle Avenue at top of Main Street
· Parallel parking on west side of Main Street (between Perkins and Water)
· 2-Hour parking on east side of Main Street (between Perkins and Water)
Spring Clean-up: Castine residents will be able to take yard debris to the Transfer Station and dispose of, free of charge, during the month of May. If you have any questions, please contact the Town Office at 326-4502. Town Reports: Town Reports are available for pick up at the Town Office during regular business hours (8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.).
Memorial Day Parade: The Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 25, at 10 a.m., weather permitting. Parade participants should be at the Court Street Cemetery Entrance by 9:30 a.m.
Curbside Trash pick-up: Curbside Trash pick-up will take place on Tuesday, May 26, due to the Memorial Day Holiday.
Flushing Hydrants: The Castine Water Dept plans on flushing hydrants during the month of May. You may experience low to no water pressure and/or water discoloration. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.
