Nomination papers are due at the Town offices no later than January 20, 2017, at 12 p.m.

2017 Hunting/Fishing Licenses: The 2017 hunting/fishing are available as of December 1, 2016. These make a great holiday gift for your favorite sportsman!
Dog Registrations: 2017 Dog Registrations are now available. Please bring in copy of current rabies vaccine. Dog Registrations are due by January 31. There is an additional $25 late fee along with the registration cost if not registered by January 31. Registration cost is $6 for a Spayed/Neutered Dog and $11 for a Non-Spayed/Non-Neutered Dog. Contact the Town Office (326-4502) or Henry Er- hard, Animal Control Officer, with any questions.

The Deer Isle Planning Board will hold a meeting on Thursday, December 15, 2016, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall to consider the following business:
1. A Shoreland Use Permit and Flood Zone Permit for rip-rap shoreline stabilization for Darwin Davidson at 35 Plumb Point Road in Deer Isle. Map 38, Lot 24.
2. A Shoreland Use Permit and Flood Zone Permit for rip-rap shoreline stabilization for Island Heritage Trust at Plumb Point Road in Deer Isle. Map 38, Lot 19-9.
3. To consider any other business that may be properly brought before the board. Flood plain maps are available for the public to review.

Town of Stonington
The Town of Stonington parking ban is in effect for December 1, 2016, thru April 15, 2017, for snow removal from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. for Main and West Main per the Stonington Parking Ordinance.
