ANNUAL MEETING

The Sargentville Library Association will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 6 PM at the Sargentville Library, 653 Reach Rd, in Sargentville. The meeting is open to all members of the public.


Notice of Intent to File

Please take notice that Benjamin H. Allen, P.O. Box 1359, Blue Hill, ME, 04614, 207-374-2842, 706-714 is intending to file a Natural Resources Protection Act permit application with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection pursuant to the provisions of 38 M.R.S.A.§§ 480-A thru 480-BB on or about June 30, 2015.

The application is for a private, recreational dock, consisting of an 85'x5' cat walk supported by pilings with a 40' aluminum ramp and 20'x16' float at the following location: At the shore, off Parker Point Rd., Blue Hill, Maine, Lat. N 44' 23.442', Lon. W 68' 34.018'.

A request for a public hearing or a request that the Board of Environmental Protection assume jurisdiction over this application must be received by the Department in writing, no later than 20 days after the application is found by the Department to be complete and is accepted for processing. A public hearing may or may not be held at the discretion of the commissioner or Board of Environmental Protection. Public comment on the application will be accepted throughout the processing of the application.

The application will be filed for public inspection at the Department of Environmental Protection's office in Bangor during normal working hours.

A copy of the application may also be seen at the municipal office in Blue Hill, Maine. Written public comments may be sent to the regional office in Bangor where the application is filed for public inspection. MDEP, Eastern Maine Regional Office, 106 Hogan Road, Bangor, Maine 04401.


REQUEST FOR BIDS
School Union 76 is seeking bids to supply #2 Heating Oil, and Diesel Bus Fuel for Deer Isle-Stonington CSD #13, Sedgwick School and Brooklin School and trash removal for Brooklin School and Sedgwick School for the 2015-16 school year. Interested parties may contact the Superintendent's Office at 207-348-9100 for bid sheets. Sealed bids will be received at the School Union 76 Office in Deer Isle, ME until 4 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2015, for Deer Isle, Monday, July 13, 2015, for Brooklin and Monday, July 20, 2015, for Sedgwick. Bids for each school system will be opened at their next regular School Committee meeting. The School Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to accept other than the low bid in the best interest of the schools. School Union 76 schools are equal opportunity employers.


TOWN OF BLUE HILL

There will be a regular meeting of the Blue Hill Planning Board, Monday, July 13, 2015, 7 p.m. at the Town Hall to hear the following:
1) Matt Cousins d.b.a. Webber's Cove Boatyard, Inc., 13 E. Blue Hill Rd., Map 17, Lot 21A; 46'x66' storage building with restrooms - also to be used for lobster bakes. The public is always welcome.
