SCHOOLUNION 93
Bids for snow plowing at the Blue Hill Consolidated School Yard, Adams School in Castine, the Brooksville Elementary School Yard, the Penobscot Elementary School Yard, and bus turnarounds in Penobscot are being accepted by the school committees. Bids are also being accepted for removal of snow from sidewalks and doorways at the Blue Hill Consolidated School. If interested, please call the Superintendent's Office in Blue Hill at 374-9927, or stop by to receive bid forms before the 30th of September. The school committees reserve the right to reject any or all bids.

Town & Acadia Float Removal: The Town & Acadia floats are scheduled to be removed, weather permitting, on Tuesday, October 17 at 8:30 a.m. Please remove your dinghy’s by then. Thank you.
Nomination Papers: Nomination Papers for Selectmen/Assessor & Overseer of the Poor (3-year term); Member of the School Committee (3-year term); Member of the Library Board of Trustees (3-year term) and Member of the Library Board of Trustees (5-year term) positions are available as of Monday, August 14. Papers are due to the Town Clerk no later than Monday, September 25. Contact the Town Office for more information and to obtain your nomination papers.
Town Reports: Town reports are available at the Town Office during regular business hours.


TOWNOFDEERISLE
The Deer Isle Planning Board will hold a meeting on September 28, 2017, at 7 p.m., at the Town Hall to consider the following business:
1. A Permit Application from Dennis Kasper & Marie Scurti to install riprap along the shore to prevent further erosion, located at 52 Stacy Drive in Deer Isle, Tax Map 5, lot 15.
2. To consider any other business that may be properly brought before the board.
Flood Plain maps are available for the public to review.
