Assistant Dorm Parent

The Assistant Dorm Parent supervises the dormitory during hours when the Dorm Parent is not on duty, and ensures that the dormitory is a safe and supportive environment for its resident students. The Assistant Dorm Parent additionally provides general dorm support by performing errands, including driving students to activities and appointments, making airport runs, and assisting with after-school and weekend activities. The Assistant Dorm Parent helps open and close the dormitory at the beginnings and ends of the school year and during school vacations. The position is part-time over 10-months (mid-August through mid-June). Hours vary based on time of year and school schedule but will include weekend, after-school, and evening hours. Candidates must have a valid Maine driver’s license. The RN Care Coordinators will report to this position. Additional duties will include: providing training and ongoing education on the management of population health; interacting with the ACO program, providing both quality and population health management information; providing reports on Population Health Management and other metrics; working as a member of the Quality Improvement Team, in strong concert with the Medical Director, to provide clinical guidance and chart reviews, and recommending models for improved care coordination. Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing, at least one year of experience working in a population health management role, and 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
