Blue Hill Inn to present ‘Incredible Self-Portrait Machine’
For First Friday Blue Hill on August 1, the Blue Hill Inn will present the “Incredible Self-Portrait Machine.” Ed Bagley, its creator, will be there to help artists—professionals and amateurs—create unique self-portraits as they interact with the Machine, according to a news release.
Bagley invented the “Incredible Self-Portrait Machine” to help people participate in the art process. The machine allows “artist-wannabees” with no artistic ability or drawing skill to create an original piece of art in just a few moments.
The inn will offer complimentary hors d’oeuvres and lemonade and sell Maine wines from Oyster River Winegrowers, a horse-powered vineyard in Warren, and Maine-made vodka.
Bagley is a sculptor and printmaker. He is owner of Gallery Untitled, Fine Art and Sculpture Garden, in Sedgwick.
