Opera House Arts presents ‘Allison Chase Performance’

Alison Chase Performance, a dance/theater production company merging innovative choreography with other theatrical genres, gives Opera House Arts’ Live for $5 intergenerational audiences a sneak peek at new work in development Wednesday, July 23, at 7 p.m. at the Stonington Opera House. The company is led by Chase, the acclaimed choreographer and a founding artistic director of Pilobolus Dance Theatre and familiar to OHA audiences for Quarryography (2007) and Q2: Habitat (2010) at the Settlement Granite Quarry.

OHA presents the annual, six week-long “Live! For $5” Wednesday night series. Each 45-minute performance is followed by a Talk Back session with the artists. Tickets for all Wednesday night performances are available only at the door beginning at 6:30 p.m. Live! for $5 was founded in collaboration with Maia Aprahamian and the Whitman Family and is made possible with the support of the Whitman Family Foundation.
