Blue Hill Concert Association opens with Triple Helix Piano Trio
The Blue Hill Concert Association, bringing world-class concerts to Blue Hill for more than 35 winters, begins its season on Sunday, January 5, with the return of Triple Helix Piano Trio, the association announced in a press release.
This year’s concert by the group, titled “Shades of Blue,” features works by six composers inspired by jazz and blues music genres. Included are works for piano and strings by French composers Poulenc, Ravel, and Debussy; British composer Judith Weir; and American composers David Baker, George Gershwin, Paul Schoenfield, and Ian Gottlieb.
