The girls tennis team was not able to win its last game, losing to Schenck 4-1, once again not having a full team. In the singles, Allison Cormier lost a close match 9-7, in the second singles, Megan Weed lost 8-3, and in the third singles, Helen Volani won 8-6. In the doubles, Justin Rhys/Kelsey Quinn lost and we forfeited the second doubles. This has been the story of our year, so close but just not there.

The boys beat Schenck 3-2 to end up in fourth place with a 7-5 record. In the first singles, Drew Siebert won 8-2, in the second singles, Tim Cormier lost 8-3, and in the third singles, Doug Heanssler lost. In the doubles, Nick Eaton/Andy Turner won 8-1 and Matt Duddy/Paul Zoephel won 8-0.

The boys have a home preliminary playoff game with Penobscot Valley this week. If they win that, they would play a home quarterfinal game some time on Saturday.
