by Faith DeAmbrose Nomination papers are due Friday for municipal and school board seats and as of press time, it appears the two open three-year school board seats are drawing attention. Incumbent Donald Driscoll and newcomers Dan Sullivan and Valerie Moon have taken out and returned papers. There also is an open one-year school board seat left from the resignation of Jon Walden. Patricia Hollenberg has taken out and returned papers for that seat. For one three-year seat on the board of selectmen, incumbent Dale Sprinkle has taken and returned papers. Papers are due back to the town office by the close of business Friday, March 8. Town meeting begins with voting on Monday, April 19, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the business portion of the meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 22, at 7 p.m. |
