As the weather turns… stay warm

Warm sunny days quickly turn into chilly Maine nights in fall, so dressing in layers keeps it simple. Throw an extra sweater or sweatshirt—and even a blanket or two— in the car and keep ahead of the weather by checking the forecast for the area you’re planning to visit. A good place to check current conditions for even the smallest Maine village is maine.gov/portal/facts_history/weathermap.php—just choose your destination town from the dropdown list.
