This issue is the annual special color Christmas issue of The Weekly Packet. Our current Web material, including extra drawings by area school children, will stay on our Web site, weeklypacket.com, for two weeks. There will be no paper published December 27. The Packet office will close for the holiday break on Thursday, December 20, at 1 p.m. The office will reopen for business on Monday, December 31, at 8 a.m. Because of the New Year’s Day holiday, deadlines for the January 3, 2013, issue have been moved to Monday, December 31, as follows: Coming Events - 10 a.m. Compass News - 10 a.m. Letters to the Editor and Guest Columns - 1 p.m. All News - 1 p.m. Classified and Display Ads - 1:30 p.m. On Wednesday, January 2, the deadline for Remembrances will be the normal 8:30 a.m. Happy Holidays! |
