Voters approve 2011-12 CSD 13 school budget

On Tuesday, June 14, Island voters approved the 2011-12 school budget, with a total of 104 in favor and 41 against. The budget validation referendum was rejected by a third of the voters in Deer Isle, where the vote was 63 for and 32 against. In Stonington, 41 voted for the budget and 9 against.

Voters also approved the adult education budget for the 2011-12 school year, 116-26.
