90 townspeople honor Gene Allen
The Weekly Packet, Celebrating our 50th year

About 90 people turned up Monday night to honor Eugene Allen, 84, a life-long resident of Sedgwick, with an informal reception and “This Is Your Life” type program.

Sponsored by the North Sedgwick Baptist Young People’s group, the program included special music and reminiscences. A scrapbook of his life’s activities were presented Allen by Rev. John Blake.
