Santa to visit Blue Hill for Yule list Dec. 22
The Weekly Packet, Celebrating our 50th year

Santa Claus will be in Blue Hill Dec. 22 and Dec. 23, the Blue Hill Chamber of Commerce learned at its December meeting Tuesday.

Those who have been in direct communication with Saint Nick say he will arrive Friday evening, Dec. 22, and visit stores that night and the next afternoon.

In other business of the Chamber, final plans were made for the bicentennial fund kick-off supper at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the IOOF Hall. Chamber members will act as waiters.

It was reported that prospects for the shoe factory were still considered good and efforts are being made to obtain a meeting with company officials.

Since the January meeting will be the annual meeting, a nominating committee of Dr. Henry K. Woodbrey, Walter Butler and Robert Grindle was appointed by President James Higgins.
