Add ox-pulling to fair card
The Weekly Packet, Celebrating our 50th year

Ox pulling will be added to the Blue Hill Fair this year.

The Hancock County Agricultural Society, sponsors of the Fair, made the decision at a meeting of the officers and directors last week.

In other business, the officers signed a contract with Dick Wilcox Shows to provide the midway and rides for the seventh consecutive year, and tentatively approved promoting the July 4th celebration for the second year.

Final plans were made for attending the Maine Association of Agricultural Fairs meeting in Portland, Jan. 20-21.
