The Republican Town Committee Monday voted to recommend Mrs. Maurice Peasley as postmaster at West Brooksville.

The recommendation has been forwarded to Rep. Clifford McIntyre.

The action was taken at a meeting in the library, presided over by Town GOP Chairman Clifford Leach.

Also on the program was a talk by State Committeeman Roy Blake who presented Leach with a gift from Gov. John Reed in appreciation for work done in the recent campaign. Brooksville was one of 13 towns to meet the voting quota, it was reported.
