A school program for promotion of dental health was suggested by Dr. Henry Woodbrey to the 18 members present at a meeting of the Blue Hill Parent Teachers Club Wednesday evening. This program would include periodic dental checkups of all students, emergency treatment, and fluorine applications. Appointed to study the possibilities of this program were Mrs. Willard Torrey, Mrs. Philip O’Brien and Mrs. John Sylvester. Robert Slaven reported on the public address system for the schools, to be purchased by the organization. An attendance award, scholarships, and a sign for the academy house were also suggested as Parent Teachers Club projects. Brownie Scouts were given $10 to help meet expenses of their Christmas party Dec. 20. Mr. and Mrs. John Sylvester and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gross were hosts during a social hour after the meeting.
