Casual for a cause
Matthew Mattson, VP and Senior Business Relationship Officer, presents a check to Katye Lacasse of Making Strides Walk for Autism. Employees of First National Bank recently raised $997 for Making Strides Walk for Autism through its Casual for a Cause program. Employees make a contribution to a nominated nonprofit organization in exchange for dressing casually on Fridays for one month. Making Strides is a Blue Hill Peninsula area organization committed to helping families, friends and the community in the battle with autism. They provide educational programs and materials, specialized equipment, events and community outreach to assist individuals on all levels of the autistic spectrum in achieving their highest potential and quality of life.
