Shortly before 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, the clear, cold skies over Stonington’s ball field were lit with fireworks celebrating Winterfest. The three-day event held from Friday, January 18, through Sunday, January 20, offered free activities ranging from cribbage and basketball tournaments to arts and crafts and tasty food.
