Empty bowl, full heart
On October 17, despite school closures and power outages, members of the community came out to share a hearty meal at the Brooksville Elementary School. The school hosted a Harvest Supper to benefit Healthy Peninsula and the school’s agricultural arts program. With handcrafted bowls, and vegetables harvested by the students, they made and served soup along with homemade bread to feed the community.
