Pride Parade sweeps through Blue Hill
Traffic stopped Saturday, June 29, for the third annual Blue Hill Pride Parade. Starting at the First Congregational Church on Tenney Hill, passersby joined the parade leading to the Town Park for refreshments. The parade serves as a testament to the LGBTQ+ community’s progress in their fight for acceptance and mirrored events happening across the state over the weekend. People of all ages showed up with banners, flags, and dogs to celebrate the positive impact and achievements of the LGBTQ+ community.
