Spring arrives on the Peninsula with a bang

What better way to announce spring than a traditional Maine nor’easter? Snow began falling in the morning of Tuesday, March 19, and continued throughout the night. By Wednesday morning—officially the first day of spring—the storm had dumped over a foot of snow, delaying morning travel and keeping roads slick, while plows kept busy clearing streets.
