The George Stevens Academy swim, PVC competitors!

The George Stevens Academy swim team shed its exhibition status and competed for the first time this season at the Penobscot Valley Conference meet on Monday, February 11 (boys) and Tuesday, February 12 (girls), with both teams bringing home ribbons in the relays—and qualifying for the state championships next week. “They earned it, they worked hard,” said Coach Jim Goodman. “They did great, especially considering most of them were new to swimming this year.”
