Michaud pays a visit to Friendship Cottage in Blue Hill

Congressman and gubernatorial hopeful Mike Michaud spent well over an hour at Friendship Cottage in Blue Hill on Tuesday, November 26. “It was a great visit,” said Joe Perkins, development director for Washington Hancock Community Agency, which operates the adult day service program at Friendship Cottage. “The congressman chatted with each participant.” Michaud then met with Perkins, Friendship Cottage Director Anne Ossanna and Kara Janes, program manager for At Home Downeast, along with WHCA Executive Director Mark Green and WHCA and At Home board members. “It was a very engaged conversation,” Perkins said.
